AI Builder Club 002: Vibe Coding in Ho Chi Minh City

On December 10, 2025, builders gathered at The Joi Factory in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City for our second AI Builder Club session. This cozy vegetarian cafe provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of collaborative coding and community building.

What is Vibe Coding?

The concept of "vibe coding" captures what makes these sessions special. It's not about grinding through tutorials or following strict curricula. Instead, it's about creating a supportive environment where developers can explore AI-assisted coding, share discoveries, and help each other level up.

The Format That Works

We've developed a format that maximizes both focus time and knowledge exchange:

Introductions (15 minutes)

Everyone shares what they're working on and what they hope to accomplish during the session. This creates accountability and helps people find potential collaborators.

Deep Work (60 minutes)

The main block is dedicated to individual project work. Tables are arranged for small group discussions, allowing peers to help each other without disrupting the entire room.

Show and Tell (30 minutes)

First in small groups, then with the full room, participants share interesting discoveries, techniques, or breakthroughs from the session.
